Brief > Construct your own pinhole camera and undertake darkroom experiments with pinhole photography as well as film and photograms. Use your print outcomes to make postcards which will be distributed throughout the Scottish National Photography Centre when it opens.
My postcards were taken using a mix of pinhole photography and 35mm film which I developed in my Art School's dark rooms.
The back of the postcards were created using photograms. I used the original prints to keep the cards authentic and added type with letraset.
Each postcard features a line from the first stanza of William McGonagall's famous poem 'The Railway Bridge of the Silvery Tay'. The well known poem was a linked the creative, industrial and Scottish themes together.
